Optional Double Degrees within our program

After you have finished your first semester of the Master program in Political Science at the University of Mannheim you have the unique possibility to apply and participate in one of our "Two Degree Programs". You will not only gain worthwhile international experience but, in the end, get a degree from each university -
Mannheim and the University abroad (see below).
If you get accepted you will spend the second year of your studies at one of our partner univeristies and finish the master program in Political Science there.

General information about the procedure:

In your second year of your studies you will complete an autonomous one year Master program at one of our partner universities. An independent degree from the university abroad is granted.
In Mannheim, however, the year you spend abroad is counted as two exchange semesters in which all the credits you get and coures you take will be added to your first year achievements so that in the end you will have completed the two year Master program in Mannheim.
