A research internship is an integral part of the M.A. program. To gain the required 8 ECTS you must either
- complete a six-week internship at a social science research institution (academic or non-academic) or
- attend a two-week course at a summer school with an empirical focus in the social sciences.
If your work as a research assistant to one of the professors at the Department of Political Science, your work may be accredited as an internship.
Every student in the Political Science Master’s program must write a report on his or her six-week-internship or two-week-summer school. The guidelines for the internship report can be found here.
