Tuition and Funding

The federal state government of Baden-Württemberg has abolished general tuition fees. All enrolled students must however pay a contribution to the "Studierendenwerk." These contributions help keep various other costs low for students, such as the price of meals in the university cafeteria. In addition to this contribution of currently € 69,80 per semester, every full-time student is charged an administrative fee in the amount of € 60,- per semester. Also, a € 5,85 AStA Fee has to be paid. So these contributions sum up to € 135,65. There are no extra fees for international students.
